House of 1000 faces
The key thing in advertisement is a face. By removing the face from advertising we deprive it of its meaning and individuality, turning it into something weird and creepy. This is a cut (both literally and figuratively) of today’s Yekaterinburg’s advertisement space. This is a state of discomfort I experience seeing dozens of advertising posters on the streets. I confine this discomfort to the space of a single room condensing and concentrating it. Special for Ural Industrial Biennale of Modern Art (Ekaterinburg).
